TOMZ RETURNS TO SABC 1

TOMZ is back on SABC 1 from Monday April 30, 2012 at 17h00.  The science and technology programme funded by Department of Science and Technology takes young people on a journey to learn more about the world of science and technology. Series 3 introduces new elements like the "Cyberspace" segment that looks at technology behind applications and how people can use their smart phones to empower themselves rather than making and receiving a call.

Two presenters, Dee and Thami, share a studio and they visit different places and share innovations in South Africa by young people. The programme encourages young people to be creative and innovative, simplify and demystify science and tech by promoting that science is everywhere.

TOMZ is one of the science and tech shows that bring you the latest technological gadgets, science and tech innovations on your screen every Monday on SABC 1 from 17h00 to 17h30.  You can also visit www.sabceducation.co.za to learn more about the programme.
